Dear Traci,

Wow, wow, wow! This is an awesome work God has given you. My 17 year old son, Chris, and I have thoroughly enjoyed this journey. As a mother who takes my role very seriously, praying daily without ceasing over my son's life, asking God to place on my heart just what to say, how to be, what to do and when to do it...I feel as though "The C.H.A.M.P. Within" has given me a tool that I can use in addition to Bible Study that really sets the platform for meaningful thought, reflective meditation and ultimately life-altering decision making; not only for my son but for me as well! and we have taken "Operation Giveback" to a whole new level! People often say how wonderful it would be if Christian parenting came with a Bluebook. Well, I think I found mine! God Bless you for being the vessel!

As a mom to two boys, ages 11 and 5, I am always looking for parenting help -- Traci Campbell's book The C.H.A.M.P. Within, and its accompanying workbook, offer both!

In the workbook, I especially appreciate her attention to repetition of themes for more deeply ingrained learning; meditation, visioning, and prayer to emphasize the spiritual/faith side of us; and the importance of living for others rather than wholly for oneself. Our kids need to learn these things, and the younger, the better! What I love most about the book is how Traci has placed her teachings about the C.H.A.M.P. Within program in the framework of her life with her mother. The credit she gives her mom for what was done well, her honesty about her mom's flaws, and her deep respect and love for her mom despite her human shortfalls all make for a parenting manual more personable and tender than any I have ever come across.

Through The C.H.A.M.P. Within, readers are given two gifts at once: a guide for raising our own kids, and a profound personal memoir to encourage us with the message that it will be OK. Perhaps our children, like Traci, will even grow up one day to realize that we did the best we could and loved them beyond measure.

Mrs. Campbell has assembled a well–written and thought provoking book. Practitioners, parents and adolescents will find valuable, usable and practical information in this very detailed autobiography. The "take a ways" at the end of each chapter allow the reader to digest, and to reflect upon the major points addressed in each chapter and the workbook provides the opportunity for readers to delve further into the issues discussed in the book.
